Crisis Management

What Can You Do To Help With Crisis Management?

  1. First, make sure each of your student's EMERGENCY CARDS is current with your school's administration. Students will ONLY be reunited with those persons listed on your emergency card with permission to pick up your child. Each person will be asked to show proper ID.

  2. Second, talk to your children and make sure they understand following school officials in the event of an emergency is the safest thing to do and the only way we can ensure reunification with family; this especially applies to our high school drivers.

  3. Lastly, parents need to be informed on where to pick up their children once it is safe to do so. DO NOT GO TO YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL! Cherokee County Schools will notify local news agencies as to where the reunification site is. In most cases it will be First Baptist Church of Woodstock. All parents/guardians will reunite with their children at that site.
